The Horse Racing Simulator is a simple racing game, in which the player controls a first-person character through performing full-body gestures. The aim of the game is to finish a pre-defined course by moving forward and jumping over obstacles and doing so in as little time as possible. Two variants of gesture controls were tested, one set of gestures for a standing stance and another set for seated interaction. The two gesture sets were then evaluated by a group of six peers. In a direct comparison the standing gesture set was preferred by the test subjects.
