MIDILens
Ruben Schlagowski, Martin Stadlmaier
MidiLens is a system which teaches piano songs by using Augmented Reality on a head mounted display (Microsoft HoloLens). This is achieved by enriching a keyboard with hologram, guiding the user through songs and giving him or her feedback on how well he or she played. An intuitive system is used for musical notation so that the user will be able to learn songs without any need for musical knowledge. As part of this project, a user study was conducted to compare two distinct application designs for displaying the musical notation and user feedback.
