Nowadays touch devices such as tablets or smartphones are not capable of finger identification. It does not matter which finger you use to tap on a button or an area, the system will always trigger the same action. But what if devices with finger identification hardware and software would exist in the future? How could an app and its interaction techniques look like? Could finger identification in a productivity app enhance the workflow and let us do our work faster and perhaps more intuitively? This is what I wanted to find out with this project and the MultiPulate prototype.
