motionSCULPT is an application for digital sculpting using the Leap Motion as an input device. It allows a natural experience for creating and sculpting objects in 3-dimensional digital space in contrast to standard input hardware by using at least six degrees of freedom of the human hand. It offers an input/interaction possibility which is inexpensive, yet easy to learn and handle and offers a different way of interaction for 3D sculpting. motionSCULPT works as an interface for already existing 3D programs like Blender. It is a viable alternative to other already existing input devices like a 3D mouse, mouse + keyboard combination, graphic tablet, etc.
