This project is about a prototype to control the rotation of a 3D object through the use of the gyroscope sensor in the smartphone. We focus on a prototype development which uses this novel method with the aim of analyzing if 3D object rotation is faster and more comfortable compared with other options like the mouse, the keyboard or the touchscreen. The use of this sensor offers a multidimensional control, which is often assumed to allow users to work quickly, but at the cost of precision, due to the instability of the smartphone moving in air. To this aim tests were conducted to test the other methods' performances, too.
