LeapCopter is a flight simulation with intuitive hand gestures for quadcopters. Conventional controlling becomes redundant with the Leap Motion sensor because the aircraft is controlled with various hand gestures. Our simulation gives the pilot the possibility to get to know the controls in a safe environment because the real copter is not exposed to any threads at any time. Afterwards he can steer his real copter with the newly learned knowledge. Two implemented one-hand controls provide as basis for comparison.
