Most MIDI data modifiers in the form of sliders, knobs and wheels do not allow to manipulate data in a fluent way and just one parameter at a time. By trying to translate hand gestures into MIDI data, less fine-tuning might be needed after recording an instrument. GrooveMotion is an gesture-based MIDI controller that uses the Leap Motion controller as an input device.
