Gesture File Browser

The intention of our project is to create a file browser that you can operate without using your keyboard or mouse. Instead you have to use your hands and your finger/s to perform gestures to trigger operations. The movement of your hands will be detected by a leap motion sensor. With the prototype you have the opportunity to mark items (folders, files) in two different ways (touch, pinch). For the touch mode it is important to calibrate the prototype before its usage by detecting the area of the File Browser window where the action should take place. After the selection you have the possibility to copy, cut, delete or paste files or folders with different swipe gestures. Furthermore, you have the possibility to create folders.
