Welcome!
My name is Michael Kipp, I am professor for computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Germany. In the past, I have been heading a junior research group at the Cluster of Excellence "Multimodal Computing and Interaction", Saarbrücken, Germany, and was senior researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). I studied computer science, mathematics and psychology at Saarland University and the University of Edinburgh.
I am teaching in the "Interactive Media" programme of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. My topics are programming, human computer interaction and 3D animation.
My research topics lie in the general area of human-computer interaction (HCI), specifically multitouch and sensor-based interaction, intelligent avatars and multimodal corpora annotation (see
