DotFit

Pallavi Krishna, Ecaterina Cosceeva
Poor exercise form during workouts is a leading cause of injury. Yet, traditional fitness solutions lack real time feedback to address this issue. This project introduces DotFit, a virtual reality (VR) application designed to improve exercise accuracy through gamified interactions and joint-tracking guidance. Built-in Unreal Engine, DotFit leverages Meta Quest 3 hardware to create an immersive environment where users mimic three key exercises - squats, kettlebell swings, and front/side arm raises which are guided by virtual mannequins and dots on skeletal joints. Real time feedback is provided by scoring mechanics rewarding precise alignment with the dots.
